How can the device be reset to factory settings?
Using the Select/OK button (cold start)
- During the cold start, hold down the Select button until the Status LED flashes once every second
- The device is now in BootLoader mode
- Release theSelect button
- Press the select button and hold it down for approx. 6 seconds until the status LED flashes at roughly twice the speed. (An LED display will now show fab)
- Release the “'select”' button
- Wait until the status LED returns to flashing more slowly once per second
- The device has now been reset to factory settings
- Switch the device off and on again
Via the select/ok button (warm start)
- During operation, press and hold both the select and ok buttons simultaneously until the status LED flashes once per second
- The device is now in BootLoader mode
- Release the select and ok buttons
- Press the select button and hold it down for approx. 6 seconds until the status LED flashes at roughly twice the speed. (The LED display now shows fab)
- Release the select button
- Wait until the status LED returns to flashing more slowly once per second
- The device has now been reset to factory settings
- Press and hold both the “select” and ok buttons simultaneously again until the status LED stops flashing
- The firmware will now start
Via the select button (1 button/switch)
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the status LED flashes in a pattern of one long on, one short off
- On a device with a display, the following message appears: "Press again to jump to FIRMWARE"
- Wait a further 3 seconds. The status LED will flash in a pattern of two short flashes followed by one long flash
- On a device with a display, the message “Press again to FABSETTINGS” will appear -> press the button once briefly
- The device is now reset to factory settings (if you wait for 6 seconds instead, the device will return to its initial state)
- During the reset, the status LED flashes rapidly -> wait until the status LED returns to flashing slowly (approx. 5 seconds)
Via the web interface
- Open the web interface in your browser
- Go to Maintenance
- Under Restart/Fab Settings, select Restore Fab Settings and Restart Device
- A confirmation box will appear – click Yes
- The device will restart automatically
